Its not because the pulses colide, its because the pusles overlap with when other cylinder exhaust values open thus reducing volumetric efficency, hence the single scroll takes longer to spool due to the engine having lower volumetric efficiency.

I'd love to say. Turbo and ITBs is not as difficult as people make it sound. Nissan has built some amazing engines that run boost and itbs and I've done it myself. A boosted itb setup is just not for the feint hearted that's all I can say.

What could happen if.. I am about to install 2x flowmasters rear mufflers 40’s on my jaguar v8. I have already a magnaflow 14” instead of the 2x mid OEM resonators (torque is amazing but no sound other than a very deep rumble almost like a subwoofer bass note because I’ve kept the rear OEM mufflers) now I’ll keep the magnaflow in the middle and cut off the OEM rear mufflers for the 2x flowmasters 40’s and see how it goes. What can go wrong? Have any of you had tried this?

no one should be doing this… this basically makes your BOV useless and the excess air is going back towards where it came from at the turbo, adding a lot of pressure the opposite way of where it’s supposed to go. this guy is a dumbass

So the idea is to have the velocity stack in front of the throttle? But F1 cars still have the throttle bodies in front of the velocity stack. You could basically mount a flat plate in front of them and use it to close all throats. Opel made an engine with a throttle plate to block just one intake valve in a 3 valve cylinder. So I could understand if you move the plate close to the valve where the flow is disturbed anyways.

If pic SRI for my sti 2011 should i must go to tunners because i dont have cobb access port etc. I like CAI but im worried about hydrolock the engine. Btw does SRI bring some power and noises from turbo i like to hear it more

CAI May be used and can have some cons in car without turbo or IC. My 330Ci'04 got cold air intake from factory part of front bumper put air to brake Channels and part of it put air into air filter Space. Basically BMW intakes are designed great.
